Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and provide exceptional customer service. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, and help deter security-related incidents through attentive observation and timely reporting. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of building entrances, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and emergency responders while reporting incidents, observations, and maintenance concerns according to site-specific procedures.
