As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
Monitor access control points at the food and beverage location, verifying credentials and helping to deter unauthorized entry.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for unusual conditions.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or issues to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and site management.
Support emergency response activities as needed, including guiding guests and staff during evacuations or other urgent situations.
Maintain a visible presence at access control points to provide assistance and information to employees, visitors, and vendors.
