About The Position

As a Security Officer - Mall Patrol Driver in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and attentive service. You will interact with visitors, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain open communication while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting in maintaining order at the retail and mall location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and mall premises, including the business and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activities and promote a welcoming environment.
Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and site representatives.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas as directed by site-specific procedures.
Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and coordinating with local authorities as needed.
Interact professionally with the public, tenants, and vendors, providing directions or assistance as appropriate while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence at the location.
