Job Description As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a commercial real estate location, you will complete mobile and foot patrols, respond to calls for service, and document security-related activity with clear, professional communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements, with time behind the wheel as you help to deter incidents through high visibility and customer-focused interaction. You will deliver with teamwork, integrity, and a people-first mindset.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property areas such as lobbies, corridors, stairwells, loading areas, and parking lots/garages, noting and reporting unusual activity and/or hazards.
  • Monitor access points and help manage visitor check-in and/or credential verification as required by site procedures, directing individuals to approved areas.
  • Respond to alarms, disturbances, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with property management and/or public responders as needed.
  • Complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents, and maintenance-related observations, and communicate timely updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
