As a Security Officer - Mall Patrol Driver in Missoula, MT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist tenants and visitors with professional customer service and clear communication. You will work with a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, bringing integrity and a people-first culture to every shift.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including common areas, corridors, parking lots, and perimeter points, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, and requests for assistance, and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
• Control access and monitor activity by observing entry and exit points, reporting suspicious or unusual behavior, and supporting traffic and pedestrian flow during peak periods and/or special events.
• Complete routine reports and documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity summaries, and communicate relevant updates to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
