As a Front Desk officer at a high-traffic retail location, you will be the first point of contact, welcoming guests, supporting access control and badges, monitoring activity from the desk, and documenting security-related incidents and requests. You will partner closely with the store team, communicate clearly, and represent Allied Universal with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, a caring culture, and integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 10:30 AM - 07:30 PM Fri 10:30 AM - 07:30 PM Sat 10:30 AM - 07:30 PM

Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and/or emergency response protocols for a retail location.
Greet visitors and associates, verify identification and/or credentials as required, issue visitor passes, and direct guests to the appropriate areas.
Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from the front desk, documenting unusual activity and reporting concerns to site leadership.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying management and/or emergency services when needed.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, access activity, and daily front desk logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site guidelines.
