As a Front Desk Officer in a busy retail mall location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, supporting access control, visitor check-in, badge handling, and clear communication with tenants, guests, and onsite teams. You will monitor activity from the desk, document security-related incidents, and help identify concerns early. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
  • Staff the front desk to greet and direct visitors, manage sign-in and badge or key control processes, and help to maintain orderly lobby traffic.
  • Monitor alarm panels, CCTV, and other security-related systems, and communicate unusual activity or maintenance issues to the appropriate contacts.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including dispatching assistance and documenting actions taken.
  • Complete daily logs and incident reports, support access control requests, and coordinate with property management and/or local responders as needed.
