As a Front Desk Officer at a financial institution location, you will greet visitors, manage access, verify credentials, monitor lobby activity through systems, and document incidents and/or service requests. You will be the first point of contact, delivering clear communication and customer service while helping to deter security-related issues. Requirements

  • Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors at the front desk by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies for a financial services location.
  • Control access by greeting arrivals, confirming authorization, issuing temporary badges and/or visitor credentials, and directing individuals to the appropriate area while helping to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and/or other site systems from the front desk, document unusual activity, and notify the appropriate contacts per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating communication with site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Complete required reports such as incident reports, visitor logs, and shift activity logs, and communicate pertinent information during shift transitions.
