As a Front Desk Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will greet visitors and drivers, verify access, manage check-in and badge logs, answer phones, and help coordinate deliveries with site teams. You will stay visible at the entry point, observe activity, document incidents, and communicate clearly to support security-related goals. Requirements

  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Operate the front desk by greeting visitors, issuing temporary badges, maintaining visitor and delivery logs, and directing guests and/or drivers to the appropriate contacts.
  • Support access control by confirming authorization for employees, contractors, and vendors, and coordinating with site contacts for approvals and/or escalations.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from the front desk, identifying unusual activity and communicating concerns to site leadership and/or law enforcement as directed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events, completing reports, and notifying the appropriate parties per site procedures.
