Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will use technology to document observations and respond to security-related concerns while demonstrating Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values through teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and/or deliveries in accordance with site requirements, helping to maintain an orderly environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document and communicate observations according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and notify appropriate contacts of security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues.
