As a Security Officer Logistics - Unarmed in SAVANNAH, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service and teamwork while bringing integrity to every interaction in a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative workplace.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and/or loading zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor, vendor, and/or delivery access as directed, and report suspicious behavior, damaged property, and/or policy concerns.
• Support receiving, shipping, and high-traffic operational areas by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with access control needs, and communicating security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
