Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling designated areas. Your presence and attention to detail contribute to a secure environment, while you deliver outstanding customer service and communicate clearly with all individuals on site. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct screening procedures for individuals entering the logistics and distribution location to help to deter prohibited items and/or unauthorized access.
  • Follow site-specific policies and procedures while performing security-related tasks as directed by Allied Universal and client leadership.
  • Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting individuals in a professional manner during interactions at screening checkpoints.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as appropriate per site protocols.
  • Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or suspicious activities to the appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a secure environment throughout the logistics and distribution location.
  • Participate in regular and random patrols around assigned areas as required by the post profile and site instructions.
