As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols and interact with people throughout the facility, providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A valid guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Screen individuals and/or vehicles entering the premises, following established access control procedures.
Monitor and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft attempts, or unusual occurrences, to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities.
Assist with crowd control and/or directing traffic as required within the logistics and distribution environment.
Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal supervisors to address security-related concerns and improve procedures.
