Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Screener in a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence will support a secure environment while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Screen individuals and/or vehicles entering and exiting the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential concerns and maintain awareness of site activities.
Monitor and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control processes and verify identification as required by site policies.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or observations as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
