Job Description As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Control Driver in Plant City, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control professional in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing exceptional customer service. This driving post requires you to conduct routine patrols while remaining highly visible, contributing to a secure environment for all. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with access control procedures by verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location, following site-specific protocols.
  • Monitor and document all vehicle and pedestrian traffic at designated access points to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and guiding visitors, contractors, and/or personnel as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and report any security-related concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of all activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Collaborate with location staff and Allied Universal management to support overall security-related operations and maintain a professional presence at all times.
