Job Description As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Control Driver in Plant City, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control professional in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing exceptional customer service. This driving post requires you to conduct routine patrols while remaining highly visible, contributing to a secure environment for all. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Assist with access control procedures by verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location, following site-specific protocols.
Monitor and document all vehicle and pedestrian traffic at designated access points to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and guiding visitors, contractors, and/or personnel as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and report any security-related concerns.
Maintain accurate records of all activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site management.
Collaborate with location staff and Allied Universal management to support overall security-related operations and maintain a professional presence at all times.
