You will remain visible at key checkpoints, communicate clearly with site teams, and document security-related activity to help support smooth operations and help to deter unwanted entry. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license per AU Driver Policy Requirements.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees by following site-specific access control procedures at a logistics and distribution location.
- Control entry and exit at gates and/or lobbies by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining visitor, contractor, and delivery logs per post orders.
- Monitor inbound and outbound truck traffic by checking shipping paperwork, verifying load and seal information when required, and directing vehicles to designated areas.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and documenting security-related events.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location and shift.
