As a Security Officer Lobby Desk in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Security Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

• 6+ months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening and documenting visitor activity, and supporting Allied Universal protocols for the location.
• Monitor lobby and reception areas, manage access requests, issue visitor credentials, and help to deter unauthorized entry in a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Answer phones, assist employees, guests, and delivery personnel, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and other front desk records related to security-related activity.
• Observe front desk and nearby entry points for unusual activity, report concerns promptly, and support emergency response activities according to post instructions.
