As a Security Officer Lobby Desk in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will greet visitors, manage access control processes, monitor front desk activity, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, assisting tenants, visitors, and staff at the front desk, and supporting security-related activities as needed.
• Monitor lobby and entry activity, verify visitor credentials, manage sign-in processes, and help control access to the location in alignment with property guidelines.
• Answer questions, provide directions, and communicate clearly with building management, tenants, vendors, and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related events through required reports and logs.
• Support front desk operations by receiving deliveries, maintaining visitor records, observing cameras and alarm activity, and reporting maintenance and/or life protection concerns to the appropriate contact.
