Requirements

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
Monitor access to the location, verify credentials, and assist with visitor management to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter potential security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.
Communicate professionally with building tenants, guests, and/or vendors, addressing questions and directing individuals as appropriate.
Document and report security-related activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
Support emergency response activities by coordinating with on-site personnel and first responders when appropriate.
