About The Position

As a Security Officer - Front Desk Lobby in Naugatuck, CT , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will be the first point of contact, providing exceptional customer service and communication while monitoring access and supporting security-related operations. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor access control at the entry point, verifying identification and credentials for all persons entering the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or breaches of site policies.
  • Assist with visitor registration and direct guests appropriately within the location.
  • Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, including communicating with building management and/or emergency responders.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of front desk activities, visitor entries, and incidents as required by the site.
