As a Front Desk Security Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, helping to deter security-related incidents through your professional presence. You will provide exceptional customer service, handle access control, and assist with inquiries, all while upholding Allied Universal's values of integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors and employees in a professional manner, verifying credentials and granting access as appropriate to the location.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to security-related functions at the front desk.
Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting with directions or information as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as necessary based on protocols.
Maintain accurate logs and records of visitor information, incidents, and other front desk activities.
Coordinate with Allied Universal management and/or site contacts regarding security-related issues or concerns.
