As an Allied Universal Security Officer supporting a commercial real estate location, you will manage access control, greet visitors, verify credentials, and monitor activity to help identify security-related concerns. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and communicate clearly with tenants, staff, and guests while providing customer-focused service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license per AU Driver Policy Requirements, backed by a caring, agile, reliable, innovative team that leads with integrity.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location.
Manage access control at designated entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing individuals to authorized areas.
Monitor alarms, access control panels, and CCTV systems as assigned, reporting irregular activity and documenting incidents according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property, common areas, and perimeter, noting maintenance concerns, unauthorized access, and other security-related issues.
