Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a secure environment, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, deliver outstanding customer service, and communicate with professionalism while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies at a utilities location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate site personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help identify hazards, unauthorized activity, and/or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and document daily activities, observations, and incident details in accordance with post orders.
  • Support emergency response activities, alarm response, and/or evacuation procedures while maintaining clear communication with site contacts, supervisors, and/or public agencies.
