About The Position

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and sharing information with site contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, stockroom areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Support store operations during opening, closing, busy shopping periods, and/or special events by helping with crowd flow, line awareness, and incident response as needed.
