As a Security Officer Licensed Custody Operations in Tulsa, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • A Corrections Officer License is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at government facilities in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor records, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
  • Complete required reports, maintain clear communication with site contacts and emergency responders, and follow established procedures for alarms, emergencies, and other security-related events.
