Job Description As a Security Officer - Facility Rounds in Westlake, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a financial services location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access control, and help to reduce security-related incidents through a visible presence and clear communication. You will greet staff and visitors, respond to concerns, document activity, and use computer or tablet tools to complete reports. Requirements
- Have a minimum of 6 months of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access control processes, and other security-related protocols at a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate internal teams and/or emergency services when required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter spaces to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry points, visitor logs, badges, and deliveries, and assist with directing personnel to appropriate areas per site policy.
- Complete detailed reports on daily activity, incidents, and observations, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or site management as needed.
