Requirements

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • 3 years prior satisfactory employment as a security officer or directly related experience.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid Security License if required by state.
  • Driver's license as applicable.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Must maintain a working telephone number.
  • Previous leadership positions in security.

Nice To Haves

  • Bi-lingual considered a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level customer service in a fast-paced setting.
  • Supervise operations of an assigned Client site on an assigned shift.
  • Report directly to Site Supervisor/Director and/or Marksman / Titan Management.
  • Manage a team of security officers, including scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development, and support.
  • Ensure high-quality security services are provided to protect people and property.
  • Handle all escalated security issues or emergency situations appropriately.
  • Develop staff in both technical and professional skills through performance management.
  • Provide a great work environment by treating staff with respect.
  • Coordinate and/or conduct site-specific training, client-specific training, and annual refresher training.
  • Reconcile logs, shift responsibilities, and patrols; review incident reports prior to submission.
  • Coordinate preliminary investigations.
  • Develop/maintain operational procedures and post orders.
  • Train and qualify to work assigned post, understanding specific and general post instructions.
  • Maintain practical knowledge of all additional and emergency post instructions.
  • Maintain access control procedures set by building management.
  • Utilize access control systems, visitor management systems, and CCTV systems.
  • Identify all tenants and/or visitors upon arrival.
  • Ensure visitors and vendors are properly signed in.
  • Observe departing personnel to guard against theft.
  • Monitor security cameras within the facility.
  • Respond to incidents including property emergencies.
  • Conduct general patrols of the entire property, including stairs and exterior in any weather.
  • Assist tenants and visitors with directions and general business information.
  • Clearly and accurately record data such as property damage, unusual occurrences, and equipment malfunctions.
  • Maintain clear, accurate logs pertaining to people or property, including packages.
  • Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
