You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to access and alarm activity as needed. Requirements
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.
- Control entry and exit at gates and/or building entrances by checking identification, verifying visitor authorization, issuing visitor passes, and directing traffic flow in accordance with posted rules.
- Monitor cameras, intercoms, and/or alarm panels, and document access activity, deliveries, and incidents in required logs and reports.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting property management and/or emergency services as needed.
- Help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining a professional presence, communicating with residents and staff, and reporting hazards, suspicious activity, or policy violations through Allied Universal protocols.
