As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will manage access control for employees, visitors, and drivers, verify credentials, monitor entry points, and document activity. You will perform routine rounds, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support smooth operations through clear communication and customer service. Requirements

• Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at gates and entry points by checking identification, validating appointments and/or shipping documentation, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining access logs.
• Monitor security-related systems such as CCTV, alarms, and access control panels; report unusual activity and document events per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and assisting with site lockdown and/or evacuation procedures as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, trailer yards, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
