Requirements

Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a guard card.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

Be able to lift more than 20 lbs, preferred.
Possess a state, county, or city issued security license, preferred.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
Screen employees, visitors, and/or deliveries entering the location using assigned equipment and established security-related procedures.
Respond to incidents, prohibited item discoveries, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and reporting guidelines.
Verify identification, confirm authorization for entry, and document screening activity, visitor information, and/or unusual events according to site policies.
Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, entry points, and surrounding work areas as directed, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
