As a Security Officer Jail Tower Watch in Union City, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, manage access control, and support screening activities. You will provide exceptional customer service while communicating professionally with employees and visitors. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and restricted areas in accordance with site procedures; assist with directing visitors and reporting unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate personnel and documenting events as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, parking areas, and perimeter, as assigned, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site policies.
