As a Security Officer - Interior Property Patrol, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff while supporting a welcoming environment. Requirements

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of commercial property common areas, parking facilities, building perimeters, and exterior grounds to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, helping to deter unauthorized entry and documenting security-related incidents in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with property management and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence at the location.
