Job Description As a Security Officer - Industrial Access Control in Pensacola, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a manufacturing and industrial location, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, interact professionally with staff and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, keeping a visible presence at the location.
- Monitor for and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or unusual activity within the manufacturing and industrial environment.
- Assist with access control and visitor management, following established protocols for entry and exit at the location.
- Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management, site staff, and emergency responders as required.
- Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client site protocols.
