As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will greet employees and visitors, manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, and help maintain accurate logs. You will stay visible, communicate clearly with site teams, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification, issuing and/or collecting badges, maintaining visitor and vehicle logs, and directing traffic flow in accordance with site requirements.
• Conduct inspections of incoming and outgoing vehicles, packages, and deliveries as required by post orders, reporting irregularities and/or policy violations through established channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, completing required notifications and documentation.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
