About The Position

As a Security Officer - Industrial Access Control in Pensacola, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a manufacturing and industrial location, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, interact professionally with staff and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, keeping a visible presence at the location.
Monitor for and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or unusual activity within the manufacturing and industrial environment.
Assist with access control and visitor management, following established protocols for entry and exit at the location.
Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management, site staff, and emergency responders as required.
Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client site protocols.
