Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare facility environment.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, supporting controlled entry to restricted areas.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
