As a Security Officer Identity Verification Driver in Mc Intosh, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, where you will manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible, professional presence. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and team members, and support a caring, reliable, and integrity-driven culture. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry procedures, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas, facility grounds, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and site personnel while reporting security-related concerns through appropriate channels.
