The Security Officer I is responsible for building guest relations throughout every shift by engaging with customers, making them feel welcome and comfortable, and encouraging repeat visits. A key aspect of the position is providing superior guest service, positively influencing interactions with both guests and employees. The role demands resilience in handling difficult guests under various business conditions and the ability to work effectively and courteously with colleagues. Additionally, the Security Officer I will assist in transporting money and chips, control access to restricted areas, and respond promptly and appropriately to customer and team member incidents and accidents, including writing reports. Responsibilities also include monitoring customer and team member passage in and out of the casino, identifying and reporting safety hazards, answering all calls promptly and professionally, and participating in routine drills. The officer must possess complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities, assisting as needed, and maintaining a clean and orderly work area. Ethical conduct and adherence to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies are paramount, along with empowering and requiring others to do the same.
