About The Position

As a member of the Security team, this role is responsible for enforcement of all hotel regulations, directives and policies. Welcome guests to Hotel grounds and provide accurate information that contributes to a safe environment for guests and employees. Assist other Security team members in procedures that protect the assets of the Hotel and the Hotel property, including wilderness properties. Our employees represent the Broadmoor brand and are Ambassadors of our Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond Standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 18 years of age by the date of employment
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft platform, Spreadsheets, E-mail
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Valid US Driver’s license.
  • Any employee driving a Broadmoor vehicle must be 18 years or older
  • CPR certification (CPR training provided).
  • Able to stand in standing position for long periods of time.
  • Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and the ability to quickly access all areas of the resort will be necessary.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for accurately documenting and securing the lost and found as well the reunification of all lost property to the rightful owner.
  • Recognizes and reports hazards (real or probable) pertaining to personal physical liability or fire safety and assets protection
  • Performs tasks relating to traffic control and parking allocations of hotel guest and employees as well as vendor and outside visitors.
  • Completes hotel security training course, with the ability to maintain proficiencies in the daily operations of a Loss Prevention Officer.
  • Transportation of VIP’s, guest and international employees as directed by the executive staff and others.
  • Escort VIP’s, employees and others as directed.
  • Provide overnight security for in house groups and others.
