The Security Officer will build guest relations throughout every shift by engaging with customers, making them feel welcome, and inviting them back. A key aspect of the position is providing superior guest service, positively influencing interactions with guests and employees, and demonstrating the resilience to handle difficult guests and work effectively with colleagues. Responsibilities include assisting in transporting money and chips, controlling access to restricted areas, and responding promptly and appropriately to customer and team member incidents and accidents, including writing reports. The officer will monitor customer and team member passage in and out of the casino, check for and report safety hazards, and answer all calls professionally. Participation in routine drills, maintaining knowledge of casino events and promotions, and keeping the work area clean and orderly are also expected. The role requires adherence to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner, and the ability to handle routine customer complaints and incidents with discretion, identifying situations requiring supervisory attention and resolving issues to maintain positive guest relationships. The position also involves assisting in maintaining a spotless casino by disposing of items left by guests and performing other duties as assigned.
