Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access awareness, report unusual activity, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• This is a primarily driving post.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or supervisors.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, screen visitors and/or deliveries as required by location procedures, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Support day-to-day operations at the location by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with directions and general inquiries, and completing required logs, reports, and other site-specific records.
