As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and guest service needs, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and help create a welcoming experience. Requirements

  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.
  • Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout hotel and resort areas including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including guest disturbances, medical calls, fire alarms, and suspicious activity, and coordinate with management and/or responding public services as needed.
  • Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and assist with crowd flow during events, check-in periods, and other high-traffic times.
  • Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation, communicate significant observations to the onsite team, and use required systems for radio communication and/or report submission.
