About The Position

As a Security Officer - Hotel Patrol in Panama City Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a hotel and resort environment, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with all individuals onsite, and embody our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first while supporting an agile and reliable security-related presence throughout the location.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the hotel and resort property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any suspicious activities or hazards encountered during patrols.
Assist hotel and resort staff and guests with security-related matters as needed.
Communicate clearly and professionally with guests, staff, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents or concerns.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disturbances and/or unwanted behavior.
Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site management.
