About The Position

As a Security Officer - Hotel Patrol in Gatlinburg, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, staff, and/or visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the hotel or resort location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel or resort property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or maintenance issues according to site protocols.
Collaborate with hotel or resort staff to support a welcoming and secure environment for all guests and personnel.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain order within the location.
Support Allied Universal management by promptly communicating any security-related issues or concerns encountered during patrols.
