Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol the grounds of a respected hotel and resort location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service to guests and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the property, and use your communication skills to address any security-related concerns, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture.

Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel and resort property, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious behavior.
Document and report all security-related incidents, maintenance issues, and other concerns according to site requirements.
Communicate professionally with guests, staff, and/or visitors to provide assistance or information as needed.
Support Allied Universal leadership and site management with security-related tasks and assignments as directed.
