About The Position

As a Security Officer - Hotel Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the hotel environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for hotels and resorts.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and maintenance needs as required by site procedures.
Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or medical situations when appropriate.
Work closely with hotel management and Allied Universal team members to address concerns and provide a professional presence on site.
