As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol the premises of a leading hotel and resort location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing visible support to guests and staff. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as they arise, and delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the hotel and resort location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting guests and staff as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to help to deter unwanted behavior and report any irregularities.
  • Communicate professionally with guests, staff, and emergency responders as required.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
  • Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols while adapting to the unique needs of the hotel and resort environment.
