As a Security Officer - Hospital in Escondido, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You may assist with sensitive areas and individuals requiring intervention while providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
  • Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Have customer service experience, preferred.
  • Possess a guard card or license, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies in a healthcare setting.
  • Respond to incidents, emergency situations, and requests for assistance in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe visitor, patient, and staff activity, reporting unusual conditions and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
