Job Description As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Driver in Fishersville, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This is a driving post. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Proof of high school diploma or General Education Diploma is required by the client.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Pepper spray certification is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
- Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to established procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff, visitors, and patients to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.
- Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disturbances and/or security-related issues.
