As a Security Guard - Medical Facility Patrol in Fishersville, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine rounds, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with professional customer service. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site leadership, and respond to requests with calm teamwork. Requirements

Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating notifications to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening and/or wayfinding, helping to maintain orderly flow through lobbies, clinics, and restricted areas per site policy.
Complete detailed reports on patrol observations, incidents, and policy violations, and communicate relevant information during shift turnovers to support continuity of security-related operations.
